cattle, sick kids, defensive driving...
We started out the week enjoying a lovely (windy) day of NO SCHOOL! Brandon didn't have to go to work...but he did need to move some cows...so we all went. Usually when Brandon has time to help with ranch work...he takes Kaitlyn with him and I stay home with the little kids who don't know how to help/ride a horse. This time Brandon seduced me into coming with him by telling me that it would be fun to get some pictures. (What!? Pictures? I'm THERE!) Sadly, like I said, it was a very windy day which caused a LOT of camera shake...plus this was my first real chance to try out my new lens and I discovered that a.) it's a macro lens...{good for close ups and getting details of like a flower or something...not the lens we thought we bought} and b.) the auto focus wasn't working all the time. So I ended up with more blurry pictures than good ones...but at least now I know that the lens needs to be returned...which by the way will happen as soon as amazon sends us a box. Brandon had to pull every trick in the book to get them to return it. Anyhow...Brandon spent a good half hour trying to catch the horses who evidently heard it was a holiday and didn't want to work. He finally got on Flops bare-back and was able to catch Chester and Lady-X. (He's still sore from that!) Then we drove out to...whatever tank it was that the cows needed to be moved from and found NO COWS. Brandon thought that maybe they had gone into the other pasture since the water in the tank was really low...but after calling his brother we realized that we were at the wrong pasture! (oops!) Kaitlyn and Addie enjoyed the short horsey ride...and Weston enjoyed throwing rocks and eating dirt while mommy messed with the camera! We drove to the OTHER tank and low and behold...there were cows...big fat momma once and little newborn baby ones who all dutifully got up and allowed Brandon to show them the way through the gate and into the pasture where their cow friends awaited them. Then we went home, had lunch and went to Show Low to exchange the defective blind we had bought.
Tuesday through Friday...Addie and Weston were both pretty sick with coughs and colds. Friday, Kaitlyn came home from school and spent most of the day on the couch. She fell asleep at around 4:30 p.m. and slept until morning. She spent all day Saturday with a fever and tummy ache...today she's eaten a little but she still has had a fever. Weston woke up from his nap with a fever too...so it looks like it'll be another week of illness around here.
Yesterday I had the great honor and privileged of attending a Defensive Driving Course. Yes.....I got a ticket. I seriously never speed. I live in Snowflake for crying out loud! The speed limit is 35 mph!...well...there is that tiny stretch in "Belly Button" where it goes up to 40 mph...and on the way to Show Low the speed limit is 65 for most of the way...but I am so used to driving slow around town that I usually go 60! So....how did I get a ticket? Well...I was driving home from Mesa. I had left an hour later than I had planned to and was afraid that if I didn't make up some time, I'd have to drive on The Rim after dark. And it had been foggy...so that would've made it even harder to see the ice on the road or the Elk that might try to cross....so all this was going through my mind...as I was nearing Payson...I noticed a gray car off to the side of the road and thought to myself that it might be a cop and was slowing down...but he'd already gotten me! He was really nice and informed me that he could take me to jail but he'd "give me a break"...and instead of informing HIM that I could use a break from house work and jail might not be so bad as long as it was sanitary...(j/k) I thanked him and went on my way! SO! Driving School wasn't that bad! I think we should all have to take the course every 4 years or so...just to refresh our memories! BUT since that probably will never happen...I took some notes! :) {I was bored okay!} I'll share a few with you...just for fun!
~The lady sitting a few seats down is wearing huge furry boots that look like part of a buffalo costume.
~ An old man walked in. Should he still be driving?
~ An older man just sat next to me. I can smell the Diet Pepsi he is drinking.
~"Buffalo Boots" brought a Victoria Secrets catalog to Defensive Driving...odd...
~Just found out that we don't get a break until 2:30...and I didn't eat lunch...
~"Pepsi Guy" just let out a little burp...and I could smell it...(gross)
...okay...I actually took real notes too...but writing about the people around me is what kept me interested for 5 hours! It probably wasn't the nicest thing to do...but I had to stay awake somehow! :) Honestly...I enjoyed the class and learned that Arizona has AWESOME DUI laws. They are tough and I think that is great. If someone is caught driving while intoxicated...you better believe that's not the first time they've driven under the influence...so I think it's great that they get ticketed and fined and made to use the interlock system (where you have to breathe into it to start your car...plus in costs up the wah-zoo!)
Anyhow...I better go get kids in bed! I have pictures to post as soon as I get the time! (maybe tomorrow...)

Picture Life Workshop
So... remember how back in October my {awesome} friend Michelle and I went to the Picture Life Photography Workshop in Mesa together??? Well....Holly and Amanda are doing another workshop in May...and even better...ONE person will win a free seat! I hope for it to be me...{of course}...since I always feel SO guilty when I spend money on something that's just for me.
This post is my ticket to having my name entered into the giveaway not one but TEN times!
I am needing a little inspiration in the photography department of my life. Things are cold and dead outside right now. I miss being out with my camera capturing LIFE! I learned SO much at the last workshop...had lots of "OH! Now I get it" moments! I'd love to go to another! I am needing advice on editing and choosing a new lens...since evidently I can't seem to find "just the right one". Editing is a HUGE part of photography and a part that I love just as much as"getting the shot"...I feel like I am being held back my the fact that #1...I need a new PC and #2 I need to install my CS2!I know that once I get this done...I am going to have TONS more questions...and it would just be GREAT to go to their workshop again and ask all the questions I want!
I am not looking to start a photography business. I just love photography...everything about it. It makes me happy! I want to be able to document my kids lives and also take pictures for other people...just for fun...and maybe sometimes for $$! :)

Valentines day, a familiar face and food coloring...
One of these days I am going to post some pictures...I just took one of Weston sleeping in his high chair with chocolate cake on his face. (He's still sleeping there actually). Weston is my "sugar baby"...he inherited his daddy's sweet tooth...(not that I don't have one of my own from time to time)! That boy begs me for sweets! He knows that they are in the cupboard over the fridge so he'll go to the fridge, reach up as far as he can and beg. He learned the word "back-pack" this week...and so now he uses that word whenever he wants something!
So! We had a good week over here. Like I said in a earlier post, we made it home from Mesa on Monday. Then Tuesday morning I woke up thinking that I didn't want to get out of my bed...and then Brandon came in and told me that it had snowed and Kaitlyn would have "late-start". I wish everyday were "late-start"! She doesn't have to get on the bus until 9:23 a.m. those mornings...normally it's 7:23! (ugh!)
You don't know how THRILLED I am that tomorrow is Presidents Day! No School for Kaitlyn and No Work for Brandon! We're going to go move some cows in the morning...well...Brandon and Kaitlyn will ride (horses) and Addie, Weston and I will drive the truck. I am hoping to get some good pictures! There are 8 new calves already! Then we need to go to Home Depot. We bought new vertical blinds for our house yesterday and two of them need to be returned. Westy also needs some new church shoes (we wont get those at Home Depot of course!). He totally out grew his in the last week.
Did everyone have a good Valentine's Day!? We didn't really have anything planned. The kids and I had gone to Wal-Mart on Friday and bought Brandon a gift. But that was it. Yesterday morning, Brandon went and got each of the kids a Valentines mylar balloon. (They get one every Valentine's day and on their birthday...I am ready for them to deflate already!) I started making heart shaped pancakes for breakfast...but then Brandon took over because he's a better pancake maker than me! I made strawberry/raspberry syrup to go on top. For lunch, we took the kids to "The Dog House". It's a new little arcade/restaurant on Main Street. They had so much fun! All the games are 25 cents...and the food wasn't too terribly priced. We were there for an hour! It would be fun to go there and play pool one of these days. I haven't played pool in FOREVER! After we left "The Dog House", we went to Show Low to get new blinds. We've been putting this off for a long time because our kids keep breaking the ones we have...but it finally got to the point where we were looking a little trashy with a blanket hanging from the girls bedroom window...that, coupled with the fact that we still had our icicle Christmas lights up out front made for a real "classy" look! Both problems are now remedied...and we warned the girls that if one of them takes scissors and cuts the strings that hold the blinds together again...then we will take them and have their hair cut short. Hopefully that will deter them. It seems like our kids have just been ruining one thing after another lately! The couch looks hideous...Addie's been driving us nuts writing on things...and you'd think that Kaitlyn would be more responsible about taking care of our belongings...but she's not much better than the younger two lately. Oh well...what can you do? (not buy anythings nice..that's what!)
So I have to mention something that happened yesterday! We were at Lowe's (because we wanted to get a price comparison on blinds so that Home Depot would price match them plus take 10% off...which they did...not without giving Brandon some grief... Anyhow...we looked at the blinds, then I wanted to look at some rugs. We asked a lady where they were and she looked SO familiar to me. I read her name tag then asked her if she had ever lived in California. She said, "yes"...then I asked her if her sister was Cheryl Skalicky. Turns out that she is the sister of our old neighbors that we lived next door to in Rialto for 15 years! Her niece Michelle and I were best friends when we were little! And what makes this an even smaller world is that Sue, (that's her name) lives here in Snowflake...5 minutes from me! We exchanged phone numbers. I called her today to invite her over for dinner. We'll see if she accepts! I am excited to talk to her again and find out what on earth lead her to move to Snowflake...I am also hoping that maybe Michelle will come visit her aunt...and possibly her told childhood friend??? (I didn't end up buying a new rug by the way.)
I guess that sums up our week...there were little errands here and there...and I helped out in Kaitlyn's class at school....OH! I forgot to say that Brandon and I did end up going out last night for Valentines day. We got some girls from our neighborhood to stay with the kids and we went to "Sweet Charly's"...it's a little resturant on Main...there food was pretty good...and they had lost our order so it took a while to get us our food...but they gave us free cake! :) We came home to a minor mess... it was the final proof we needed to not have these particular girls babysit for us ever again. We'd had a little problem with them before...and hadn't asked them to baby sit for a long time...but they're in our ward and they're always asking us if they can babysit...so we gave them another chance. We came home to them sitting on the couch...Weston was asleep in one of the girls arms which would have been great if they had done a good job changing his diaper...we had to wake him up and give him a bath because he was stinky. Kaitlyn was in the kitchen trying to clean up some green stuff that was on the floor, counter and cabinets. I went and asked Addie (who was sitting in front of the TV with her legs crossed and arms folded) what she had gotten into...and when she stood up she had green arms and legs. The babysitters looked at each other with "deers in headlights" expressions on their fces! They didn't have a CLUE that Adelin had climbed onto the counter and gotten into food coloring. (HELLO! What did you do? Sit and watch TV the WHOLE time and not pay any attention to my kids!?...no need for me to ask that question...I already know the answer...) I paid the girls, Brandon took them home and I got the bleach out to clean up the mess. It all came out...so that was good! I just don't know where to find a good babysitter around here! When I was young and babysat for people...I rarely turn on the TV to entertain the kids. We played games, did puzzels...read books...and I always made sure that the dishes were done and the house was clean. Babysitters these days don't do that. (At least not any that we've had) You're lucky if they'll take a break from instant messaging their friends long enough to get your kid a drink! I wouldn't mind the house being a little messed up as long as they played with the kids. I guess I need to just be more firm and tell whoever I have babysit what I expect.
(a little later)...Sue just called! They're going to come over for dinner in a week! I am so excited!
WELL... I better go!

p.s. I forgot to mention that in Wednesday the kids received a Valentine's package from their Aunt Kim and Uncle Eric! They were SO excited...and the gifts they sent to them kept them busy all day...a big bonus for mom! Thanks guys...we love ya!
p.s.s Also forgot to mention that I get to go see Angie in a couple weeks! (hooray!!!) I am flying to Texas and we're going to go to Time Out For Women in Huston with some of her friends! WAY excited for that! I also get to have a few days of "Angela time" at her house...I hear the outlet mall by her house calling our names already!

(LOL!)
I love to laugh out loud! But, honestly...it takes something pretty funny or cute to get me to laugh...but I am trying to laugh more freely!
This morning, Weston made me laugh! He woke me up and had me read him a story (by "had me read to him" I mean that he got in my bed and hit me on the head with the book...I got the hint...)...then after my failed attempts to get him to snuggle so that I wouldn't have to get out of bed yet...I finally said, "Do you want to go eat breakfast?" We got up...I headed to the bathroom and he headed to the kitchen. When I got to the kitchen he was sitting there in his high chair! I couldn't help but laugh! Guess he was hungry huh?
There's something else I have been wanting to blog about but didn't know if I should...but I think I will. (no...I am NOT pregnant!)
I just wanted to share these five questions that I have been asking myself everyday. My sister in law Pam suggested that I do it. It has really helped me to keep a better perspective. Not that I haven't had a bad day...but asking myself these questions at least once a day or whenever I am feeling stressed out has really helped me.
#1 What do I love about myself?
#2 What do I have to look forward to today?
#3 What does Heavenly Father want me to learn today?
#4 Who can I serve today?
#5 What am I grateful for today?

When Pam first told me these questions I honestly thought that they were HARD...but answering them gets easier as you go along. Also, these questions are not meant to add extra things to your already too long "to do " list. For example...you don't need to bake cookies for your new neighbor to answer #4 and you don't have to come up with something great to do in order to answer #2. Just answer the questions based on what you already do throughout the day. You might want to tape them to your mirror as a reminder. And don't forget the part to laugh out loud!

"modest fashion"
I have discovered a new "modest fashion" line. It's called Shade. They have some cute things and good prices...I had a coupon code...but it expired. I haven't ordered anything from then yet...but will when I get a new promo code! (I try to not buy anything online without a promo code!) paint, band-aides, Mesa
I just went too look at my calendar to refresh my memory a little on what happened this past week. Kaitlyn and Addie are in bed...not at all asleep...and I heard Kaitlyn getting after Addie to "be quite because she needs to sleep". Brandon was telling Kaitlyn to just ignore her and Kaitlyn said, "I am trying to! I just want to sing a song to myself in my head and it's really hard to do when she is talking"....that cracks me up! These kids get on my NERVES often...but they sure are cute. I also just closed the door to the office so that I can't hear them anymore...so that helps! :)
So, I really don't feel like typing right now...but I have found that it's so much easier to blog when my kids aren't around! (shocker!) Weston has been crying seriously like 7 hours a day...just whining and being so cranky. He's getting 4 molars so I know why he's acting this way...but I really miss my happy little boy! Funny thing is that he's worse when I am around. He just wants me to sit and hold him which I would LOVE to do if everything else I have to do in a day got done without me!
Let's see what I can remember from last week...
Monday Pam and I painted at Jennifer's house. It was so fun to spend time with Pam and I am SO grateful to Jennifer's mom (Marsha) for watching my kids and to Dawniel for going to the school and picking up Kaitlyn because her teacher forgot to put her on the bus that would take her to Jennifer's. (Pam and Dawniel are two people who I would be LOST without!) So, I haven't been over to see how our paint job turned out! When we left it was kindda getting dark...so there might be some touch up work that still needs to be done.
Tuesday I watched Dawniels little girl Brynn while she went to help out in Hayden's class at school. Brynn was so good! I felt so loved when didn't want to go home when her mom came to get her. I found out that later that day she was throwing up and having the flu...I felt bad for her but glad she had gone home instead of playing longer. My kids never got sick...knock on wood. Also on Tuesday I took Kaitlyn to get her hair trimmed. I would do it myself...but I can't cut a straight line to save my life! Besides, I love Tracy and look for any excuse to go visit her. She has a fun back yard too...with a cute little red barn, goats, chickens, donkeys, tortoises, a trampoline and a swing set....so the kids like going there...and I bribed them to be good by telling them I'd take them to Taco Bell for lunch...and for once...it worked!
Wednsday...I don't remember...I know Brandon had a basketball game, and like I have said in previous posts, I don't go to them anymore because I don't like chasing after the kids...but this time his game was at 7 p.m. so Kaitlyn went with him and watched. Her little friends Ellie was there so that was a fun night for her.
Thursday was a rough day...I don't remember why...but it was. I finally got a shower at about 4 p.m. and decided that I needed to get out of the house so when Brandon got home I took Adelin on a date. We wanted to go to a movie, but there wasn't a good kid one playing. Addie told me that she wanted to have chicken and rice for dinner and then go to the store to buy rainbow band aides (Remember? She LOVES to wear band aides) SO! That's what we did! We went to a restaurant in Show Low that we have never tried "Samurai Sam's" it was pretty good. Then we ventured over to Wal-Mart and found some rainbow band aides! We also found some baby doll diapers for her "baby Sally". She mothers that doll better than most adults could! She was SO excited to come home and change Sally's diaper!
Friday I spent the day getting the house somewhat in order...and packing for Mesa. We left at about 5:30 p.m. We got to my parents and I tell you I sat on their couch and about fell right to sleep. I was SO tired! Then I took a shower and got ready for bed and was WIDE awake! I don't think I slept more than 2 or 3 hours that night.
Saturday morning all of my siblings and their spouses/fiance came over for breakfast. It felt good for us all to be together again. I realized that I have been away from my brothers for too long. I can no longer handle talking about large worms being found in peoples brains or little ones creeping out of eye balls. I kept being grossed out and my oldest brother Sam was like, "Why are you so grossed out!? You used to talk about stuff like this all the time!" It might sound sick to admit...but I miss talking about gross things with my brothers. I think as a kid I learned that if I could be gross, I could impress my brothers. I can honestly burp louder than most grown men...thanks to them! :) Anyhow! Saturday night my parents watched Adelin and Weston while Brandon and I took Kaitlyn to see "The Lion King"! We didn't tell her where we were taking her. She knew we were going to Mesa to go somewhere as a surprise for her...but she had no clue! I told her that morning that we had to dress up to go "to our surprise" and she did NOT like that! She got all sassy and said, "Where can we go dressed up that would be fun? To CHURCH!?" When we got in the car to go to the play we gave her the tickets and had her read them...then she got excited. We took her out to dinner at Chili's before the play. She wasn't excited about trying a restaurant that she's never been to...but in the end she liked it and has asked if we can go back again. SO! The PLAY!? It was awesome! Kaitlyn was in the edge of her seat! She loved the "Akuwna matata" (or however you spell that) scene the best. I think the three of us all loved Rafiki. She was so funny. I loved the African dancers/singers too. I was only disappointed in the fact that some of the performers with lead roles like the young Simba and Nala didn't do as well as you would expect Broadway show performers to do. Put I LOVED all the costumes...the giraffes were amazing! After the play, we took Kaitlyn around to the stage door to meet some of the performers. They weren't in costume anymore...but we met a guy who plays a zebra and also one of the ensemble singer/dancers! It was such a fun night! I have been wanting to see that play ever since it came out. Hopefully it'll be something that Kaitlyn will always remember doing with mom and dad. That reminds me. On the way home from the play, we were driving near our OLD neighborhood...where we lived when we first got married and when Kaitlyn was a baby. We were asking Kaitlyn if she remembered any of the places and she said, "no". I asked her to try to think of what her first memory was. She was quite for a little bit and then said that she remembers when we lived in Queen Creek and she and I cut out and painted leaves (it was autumn) and we hung them from the ceiling then turned on music and danced under the leaves. I am sure at the time I was just trying to keep her entertained...little did I know that I was creating a lasting memory.
Sunday we went to church with my parents. Their ward meets at 8:00 a.m.! I thought going at 9 a.m. was hard! We had planned to eat lunch, visit a while then come home...but we kept checking the road conditions on SR 260 and the highway was restricted to 4-wheel drive and cars with chains only. I didn't want to drive home through Salt River Canyon because it makes me sick...plus there was ice on the road there too...so we ended up staying another night. My Grandpa Newbold came over and we all played a game of UNO. My grandpa is such a good sport...he played with us even though he is color blind! Even when he holds a green card right next to a red one, he can't tell the difference. Sadly, he lost the game...but, we all still had a good time! I have the best grandparents! :)
Today the roads weren't any better but Brandon wanted to try to make it home...so we braved it...and made it home safe and sound. There was tons of snow from Payson all the way to Heber...but none here in Snowflake. Weird.
The house is pretty quiet now. The kids must all be asleep. I guess I better go do the same! It's going to be nice to sleep in my own bed tonight.

Kaitlyn wants a vacation!
So...we all (except for Brandon) have taken our turns with pink eye. Addie is just about cleared up.
Today we were driving in the car and the girls were arguing in the back. This is how it went.
Addie: "STOP TOUCHING ME!"
Kaitlyn: "Stay STILL!"
Me: "Kaitlyn, leave her alone."
(Just then I look into the rear view mirror and see Kaitlyn rubbing her eye.)
Kaitlyn: "I hope Addie still has pink eye, I want a vacation from school..."
She was trying to contaminate herself with her sisters eye germs! So gross...but so clever!

Our week...or what my fading memory can remember of it!
SO! Another week! A new month! CRAZY how fast it's going by...and I am SO glad it is! I can't WAIT for summer so we can sleep in, play outside, go for walks, wear flip flops...and just feel warm without the outrageously high heating bills! :)
Well....my cousin Jamie and I got put in charge of planning a family reunion for the Newbold's this year! We were able to reserve Busbee Ranch in Heber for the 4th of July weekend. I am excited! I think it's going to be a lot of fun....I'll have to give more details on what we're going to do later! (yes, I know...the suspense is going to kill you...)
Now on to my OH SO EXCITING week!
I really don't remember much from Monday. My visiting teacher (who is Brandon's cousin Heidi) came over. She's always so fun to talk to!...I know we did something for Family Home Evening...but I honestly can't remember what (I am sure it left a lasting impression on my children though!)...(*later*) NOW I remember...we went to DQ...and had a lesson on sharing (as Kaitlyn, Brandon and I shared a large blizzard and Addie and Weston shared one of their dairy-free star popsicle thingy's!...Good lesson huh?)
Tuesday is the day Kaitlyn goes to dance class. She loves to get all dressed up on her tights, leotard and little skirt! She doesn't like that she has to wear her hair in a bun though...but I LOVE it! She looks so cute. (I'll have to take a picture this week) That night, Brandon and I went over to Jon and Dawniels house for this "SaladMaster Cookware" party. Basically Dawniel wanted the free gift and since my mother in law was willing to watch the kids...we took advantage of the chance to get out! Now...the whole SaladMaster thing is just dumb if you ask me. I mean...if it didn't cost over $9000 for the whole set...or $2000+ for three pots...I would buy it...but HELLO!? I don't even want to know if any of you own that stuff because I wont be able to look at you the same way again! j/k :) I just didn't like the scare tactics used..."What price tag do you put on your child's health???" BUT! We had fun! Sam and Peggy Weech where there too...so the company was top notch...and the lady presenting the astronomically priced cookware made us a yummy dinner...and Dawniel gets her hostess gift...so what more could you ask for? :)
I don't remember much from Wednesday either. (Maybe I should try writing more often than once a week huh? I might remember more...) I DO remember that Brandon had to go out to dinner with some visitors they've had out at the Mill. He wasn't too thrilled about it. He wont appreciate me telling you this...but he was a little skeptical of the "gender preferences" of the majority of the group. I am usually jealous when he gets to go out to eat and have the company pay for it...but this time I just had to laugh!
Thursday...wasn't very long ago and I still don't remember it. I know I called my cousin Shannon. She's pregnant with twin girls and due soon. I hadn't talked to her in FOREVER so I decided I better call her before she has the babies and wont have time to chat. It was good to catch up on things! I also tried a new recipe for dinner. It's for Mandarin Orange chicken...it was good...but like most things, it would have tasted better fried! After dinner...I ignored my "inner voice" and went to my volleyball game...I'll I can say is that I wont be doing THAT again!
Friday????? I got to talk to Angela! It's like our therapy session! We try to call each other at least once a week. I had to go before we got our full 2-3 hours in...but it was still great! Brandon and I had appointments to do initiatories. I am so glad we actually made it. It seems like things always come up (...we can't find a sitter...) and we end up going months without going to the Temple.(...then comes the guilt...). It was extra great for me because Mary Louise (Brandon's mom) happened to be working in initiatories when I was there. After we were done at the Temple, we went out to dinner at Eva's...then came home. Our niece's Katie and Molly babysat for us...from their report, the worst thing that happened was Weston pooping in the tub!
Saturday started out rough for me. I needed to get the house clean and make a Wal-Mart trip but Brandon wasn't going to be able to be home to help with the kids. I don't know if I am the only one with this problem...but it is near impossible for me to clean the house without Brandon here to keep the kids entertained and out of my way...and it is near torture to go to Wal-Mart by myself with all three kids...so it was not even 10 a.m. and I was already feeling like my whole day was going to be a waste! Luckily...it didn't turn out that way! I was rescued by my wonderful sister in law Pam! She got some girls to come watch my kiddos and we went to Wal-Mart together! Then we had the best talk! I seriously don't know what I would do without Pam. I would really, seriously be LOST without her!
Today went well. We ALMOST made it to church on time! I don't know if we'll make it there on time at all this year! Getting me and the kids ready by 8:45 a.m. really does seem impossible to me...but...I am going to keep trying. Miracles happen! After church we fed the kids a little snack and then I went and laid down with Weston. He fell right to sleep...but I stayed awake because my feet were freezing but I was too tired/lazy to get up and put socks on! (silly huh?) Then we broke our fast and ate dinner. Brandon started watching the Super Bowl...then had to hit record while we went over and visit with his mom. We went and played Phase 10...(Brandon won...I lost...) and now we are home! The kids are in bed and Brandon is watching the football game. I have looked onlne and know that his team, the Cardinals (who haven't been in a Super Bowl since the 60's) lost by 4 measly points...but I am going to be a nice wife and not ruin it for him!
Tomorrow Pam and I are going to paint our sister in law Jennifer's house. Jennifer's mom is going to keep an eye on my kids for me which I am so greatful for! I have been wanting to help on the house and haven't been able to. (Well...I guess staying home with the kids while Brandon helps with things is helping...technically) I wish I had my camera on me yesterday. Brandon was painting with the sprayer and I guess he had a little accident! He looked like a ghost! His eye lashes looked like they had 50 coats of white mascara in them and the hair on this arms liked like a flocked Christmas tree! It was pretty funny!

Tomorrow Pam and I are going to paint our sister in law Jennifer's house. Jennifer's mom is going to keep an eye on my kids for me which I am so greatful for! I have been wanting to help on the house and haven't been able to. (Well...I guess staying home with the kids while Brandon helps with things is helping...technically) I wish I had my camera on me yesterday. Brandon was painting with the sprayer and I guess he had a little accident! He looked like a ghost! His eye lashes looked like they had 50 coats of white mascara in them and the hair on this arms liked like a flocked Christmas tree! It was pretty funny!
Well...that's about all I can think of for this week! Hope you are doing great!
P.S. I don't know why the fonts in this post are different. I keep trying to fix it.???
